Leopoldo Rodriguez

Leopoldo Rodriguez is Deputy Director of Energy at Energía Eléctrica BAL. Previously, he was Manager of Renewable Energies at Industrias Peñoles, Senior Associate at Arthur D. Little / Charles River Associates - Mexico and President of Energy Saving Central.

He is President of the Mexican Wind Energy Association (AMDEE) and was also President during the 2011-2013 period. He is Coordinator of the Clean Energy Commission of CESPEDES, member of the Energy Committee of the Business Coordinating Council (CCE), member of the Evaluation Committee of CENACE and the Wholesale Electricity Market, member of the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC), permanent member of the Energy Transition Network, the Energy Policy Colloquium and the Mexican Renewable Energy Initiative.
(IMERE), is a member of the private sector energy advisory team for the negotiations of the North American Free Trade Agreement and was an advisor to the Mexican Section of the U.S.-Mexico Energy Business Council.

Mr. Rodriguez received a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and is an Electrical Mechanical Engineer (Honorable Mention) from Universidad La Salle in Mexico City.
