Last month's blackouts are a sign of what will continue to happen, and evidence of the lack of sufficient infrastructure such as transmission lines and power generation. However, industry experts put on the table short-term options and lower investment, while transmission lines are developed, the use of controlled demand, energy storage and local development of electricity infrastructure.
