Mexico’s wind sector is advancing from planning to permitting with a portfolio of 2,159MW of new wind capacity entering the regulatory pipeline under private and mixed development frameworks. Driven by an estimated investment of US$4 billion to US$5 billion, these projects build upon the massive renewable allocations awarded over the last seven months.
